John tells us in chapter 4 of his Gospel, that Jesus left Judea and headed to Galilee. On the way, He traveled through Samaria. Thirsty from the afternoon heat, he stopped at Jacob's well and a woman came to draw water. Jesus had a conversation with her revealing that although He knew all about her colorful past, He was offering her "living water." The woman at the well experienced the deep grace and love that the Savior offers freely to all.
